90年代渋谷系ムーブメントを駆け抜けた伝説のネオアコースティックバンド“bridge”。当時は６人編成のバンドとして活動しており、ネオアコースティックやソフトロック、ギターポップの影響を独自の解釈で昇華、小山田圭吾（コーネリアス、ex.フリッパーズ・ギター）がプロデュースしたことでも話題になった。そのオリジナルメンバーで現在もソロ活動を続けているカジヒデキとイケミズマユミ(Three Berry Icecream/The Bachelors)が"ふたりブリッジ"として2026年より活動スタート。2月に東京で行われたライブは6時間で完売、7月の名古屋・大阪ツアーでも満員御礼で迎えられるなど根強い人気を誇る。11月のレコードの日に1stシングル「Windy Afternoon / Soft Cream Whistle」を7インチでミオベル・レコードよりリリースする。
‘bridge’ was a legendary neo-acoustic band that made its mark on the Shibuya-kei movement of the 1990s. At the time, they performed as a six-piece band, offering their own unique take on influences from neo-acoustic, soft rock and guitar pop; they also attracted attention for being produced by Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius, formerly of the Flipper's Guitar). Two of the original members, Hideki Kaji and Mayumi Ikemizu (Three Berry Icecream/The Bachelors), who continue to pursue solo careers, will begin performing as ‘Futari Bridge’ from 2026. Their live show in Tokyo in February sold out within six hours, and they were greeted with sold-out crowds on their Nagoya and Osaka tour in July, demonstrating their enduring popularity. On Record Day in November, they will release their first single, ‘Windy Afternoon / Soft Cream Whistle’, on 7-inch vinyl via Miobell Records.
